Great coffee, nice people and thousands of books! Love this place! Great for travelers on the 101.
A favorite place to get warm and have a treat, plus enjoy a wealth of reading opportunities
Great coffee and treats!Nice environment very personable staff.
right off the hightway, nice staff good coffee. Baked goods looked amazing.
Good cofee and muffin.
Great selection of coffee. Unlike most places, you'll find board games available for you to play while you eat delicious ice cream or drink your favorite type of coffee drink. Very friendly service. Mexican mocha was delicious!
Best icecream around
Always friendly and excellent Coffee and other tasty treats
Quick and responsive service. And of course great coffee!
Blueberry Lemon muffins = happy mouth! Coffee was also superb.
Great book store and coffee shop
Perfect little shop for coffee and sweet treats. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good selection of coffee drinks with reasonable pricing.
Stopped while passing through town on a road trip. Drip coffee was good. Gingersnap cookie was delicious. Service was friendly
I paid for my coffee and before she even started fixing it, people she knew came in so she fixed theirs and left me to sit and wait. Horrible service that day. Update: service has improved and the coffee is very good with many choices.
I honestly can't review this place. When I went, she had given her Barista's the day off and it was closed. There's a bookstore attached, that is why I gave it 3 stars. I will try again later and see if I can do better than 3 stars.
Great service and a friendly smile. Prices are outstanding too!
*in book store*great coffee and atmosphere *pastries*ice cream*wifi*WINTER HOURS-opens at 8:00 on SundaysRachel’s coffee house has, by far, the best espresso in town. Actually, this the only place in gold beach we will buy it. I really like the little shop, it would be the perfect place to meet up with a friend or go to by yourself. It is attached to a really interesting book store too. If my kids weren’t so little I’d probably spend a lot more time here. Don’t get me wrong, my kids like this place too but if they get a little too rambunctious they can quickly kill the atmosphere I enjoy so much.
Nice surprise, lots of local art, plus great coffee with friendly service.
Latte was very good. The star of the show was their blueberry muffin. One of the best we've ever eaten. Not too sweet, nice and savoury. Large and moist.
Great food, great coffee and excellent service.
Very nice coffee and pastries/scones to go with it.
Rachel's Muffins are excellent, good coffee with free re-fill, friendly service, places to sit, free wi-fi, parking outside
Great coffee shop. Really fast usually and if you come by more than once they remember your order.
Good coffee and tea. Nice shop
Great location, great coffee, wonderful service
Delicious white chocolate latte and friendly service.
Good coffee my bill came to 1250 I gave him a 20 and got 7 back oh, I guess they tipped themselves so I didn't have to.
A really nice place to stop in and get some coffee, eat a muffin and read a book.
I love that it's in a little bookstore! Their desserts look amazing, especially the sticky buns. Service was a little slow, but the coffee was good.
Best book stop in Curry County. Nice senorita baristas also!
Good selection of Expresso, hot and cold beverages, ice creams and, other goodies. Friendly staff and wheel chair accessable counter. Free WiFi. Plenty of places to sit and think or talk.
Any coffee shop connected to a bookstore is a winning combination in my mind. Small, unassuming coffee shop with friendly staff, a wide variety of coffee selections, and some food as well. The blueberry muffin I had was pretty dry, so the coffee definitely came in clutch to help wash it down.
We motivated ourselves out of camp this morning with the idea of caffeine and scones. So on our way up the Pacific Coast, we made a pit stop at Gold Beach for some fuel for the car and fuel for the body aka coffee and baked goods. Rachel’s coffee house didn’t have the egg-free scones we had our stomachs set on but it did offer us buttery short bread, affordable coffee, and a sun lit table by the window.
Had salted caramel mochas, blueberry scones, and marion berry cheese cake, all was delicious.
Great cup of coffee plus home made treats
Great coffee house!! Outstanding service.
Got a latte here that tasted so watery that it could pass for drip coffee - the weak kind.
Found this off Google reviews and I'm so glad I stopped in. Went for breakfast and ordered the breakfast burrito on special. Super fresh and was delicious. Coffee was strong and fresh as well. Cute little spot right inside the book store. Next time, I'm grabbing some of those tasty looking pastries!
Excellent mid-town meeting place. Decent coffee. Tons of books!
This is a quaint little coffee shop housed in a book store! What more could you ask for! New and old books! Excellent pastries and muffins! I like to have a cup of tea with the short bread while checking my email! Great way to catch up with yourself or others! Upstairs is a whole nother world of books! A table and plenty of chairs strategically placed so you can properly browse, but you must have a cap on your beverage and no food upstairs! Great place to study, or explore! Free WiFi!
The book store guy was really nice, cordial, friendly and helpful, but the coffee people were personalityless and indifferent. Coffee sucked.
Great coffee and service. Got 3 shots and was twitching just they way I like it :D
Super cute coffee shop next to a bookstore.
Rachel was very friendly. Though we just had espresso and tea, place had a cordial atmosphere and is part of the Gold Beach Books which specializes in used and rare books. Really nice combination.
Coffee is super good but the short bread cookies are the best I have ever had even better then grandma's. It is also attached to a really unique book store that has so many 1 offs and weird books I have been searching for not to mention tons of unique art
Good coffee and a few kinds of pastries for a quick breakfast or snack. It's in the small retail center facing the harbor near Slugs and Stones Ice Cream.
This place was a great find! Wish it were here in the Catskills! Other than the food and coffee, they had a beautiful little shop. Pretty jewelry, very beautiful, different greeting cards, among other things. Stop and check it out!
Coffee okay. 4 percent few for cc is excessive. Scone was awful. Dry. Hard. Tasteless. Guy said coconut cream was great. A little coconut frosting was it. The Internet is good to have
Warm and comfy environment and good food...
Quaint shop. Book store and cafe share the same place. Coffee is excellent. Had the dark roast. Not bitter very smooth. Lots of great books for sale in the bookstore. Definitely worth a stop here.
